Yoga at Home

The best yoga is when I get the house alone for an hour and no one phones and I find the right music and organize all my props and I go all the way to savasana and don't punk out.

It doesn't happen very often.

Working from Home

Everyone should work from home as often as they can.  I am so enjoying the lack of traffic and no gas expenses, and hitting the desk in my pajamas.  I wake up, make coffee, and check my emails.  My computer room is the nicest room, with windows to the garden.

I can get up and stretch or take a yoga break whenever I want.  I'm saving money on car expenses, clothing, and psychotherapy.  I am working very hard and long hours; but at least it is in the comfort of my home.

Is Honesty the best Policy

I have a girlfriend who I love like crazy.  But she needs constant encouragement.  She keeps asking me about her hair and if her butt is too big and if I like her hair color and if I think she looks hot.  It is exhausting after a while and sometimes I want to tell her to stop being so self-absorbed.  But that hurts her feelings and she says a real friend would give her more support.  I meditated on this one.  I didn't get an answer, but I think I stretched out a little in the spine in the top of my back.

Full Stomach

So I have a two week vacation and I decided that I am going to do a lot of yoga and read books and clean my house.  I wake up in the morning meaning to do yoga first thing.
But first, I need coffee, and while that is happening I decide to start the washing machine and then I run into the office and check my mail and so on and so forth until I realize that I have to eat something or I will faint.

Then, I can't do yoga because I've eaten.
Anybody have this problem?

Always Do Yoga

I love to dress up and go to work.  And I love to grab my car keys and get back home.  In between, I need to feel as good as I look.  Give me soft fabrics and clothes that move with me and let me breathe.  Give me work clothes that feel as good as yoga clothes.
And give me a place to go to in the middle of the working day to take a break and do some yoga.  I need to stretch out all of those knots in my spine if I'm going to be productive.
I need a five minute shoulder stand to send the blood back to my brain.

The management can save its money for the expensive gym equipment.  I need a room and a mat and a short period for breathing.

What about you?
